What a great book. Truly amazing. I wish I had read it years ago. I had been under the impression that it was a "difficult" book, but it's really very accessible. It's written in a chatty style, so of like People magazine would be like if it had been published around the time of Augustus and Tiberius Caesar. Anyway, this book shows human nature as it really is: a cesspool. It's a wonderful antidote to 2000 years of pious, squeaky clean Christianity.
