I'll try not to make this review too long, and since I don't like it when people try to brainwash you about books, I'll just be plain about what I think.

Fahrenheit 451 is a good book and doesn't take long to read (i.e., this is a good weekend book). There are many plot twists that keep you guessing up until the end, and there is plenty of action to keep the book moving. Thankfully, Bradbury doesn't go on long spiels about his philosophy, which can get boring in some books. My only complaint about this novel is the ending. While I understand that in the world in which Montag lives, there are no truly happy endings possible for people like him. However, after the tense atmosphere that is present throughout the book, I felt that the ending just kind of trickled off to nothing.

But don't let that stop you from reading this book, as it is highly entertaining and gives you a chance to rethink society and how much literature should be valued. I definitely recommend Fahrenheit 451.
