To The Lighthouse / Dinner table

1. I had ordered Roger Brown's Words & Things and Steven
Pinker's Words & Rules from WHSMITH in the UK, and they sent me
two copies of Words & Things and no copies of Words & Rules. I
wrote and offered to send the extra copy of the duplicate book
back to them. Today, I received a reply saying "please do keep it,
and we will send you the missing book immediately." So, now I
have an extra copy of Brown's Words and Things to give to a
2. Today I finished reading Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse.
While reading the first part of To The Lighthouse, I had tried to
place the household and the guests at their seating intended by Ms
Woolf and I think I finally got it right.
I want to ask readers of this book to do the same. The first person
who credibly describes the dinner table seating (and God knows,
we spent a long time at that table) will get the extra book from
whsmith who messed up but gracefully offered to sort it all out.
